Science Fest

Learning outcome of the Activity:To inspire students to develop innovative ideas for conserving nature and addressing environmental challenges while promoting the use of science and technology for sustainable development.
Report on the Activity:
The Inter School and Inter College Science Fest 2024-25, organized by Aldel Education Trust at St. John Technical Campus, Palghar, was held as a two-day event celebrating innovation, creativity, and sustainable development.This year’s theme, “Green Science for Global Well-being”, emphasized the importance of sustainable practices for a healthier planet. The sub-themes included:
- Plastic vs Planet
- Improving Public Health
- Pollution and Bioremediation
- Climate Change and Human Well-being
- Integration of Non-Conventional Energy Sources
Our students made a remarkable mark in the Project Competition, securing First Prizes in two categories.
In Category XI-XII, the project was titled Trash to Bloom: Plastic Goes Green and was guided by the teacher Mrs Hetal Shah.The students were Ms Sana Sinha, Ms Kanishka Kini, Ms Manashri Malvi, Ms Rajvi Mhatre
In Category VI-VIII the Project was titled Carbon-Free City and was guided by the teacher Mrs Rita Kirar. The students participants were Ms Zayna Shaikh, Ms Kavya Vartak, Mst Ayaan Ladji , Mst Neel Mane
Both the projects demonstrated innovative approaches to environmental sustainability and were highly appreciated by the judges and attendees alike.
The winners were honored during the felicitation ceremony with trophies, certificates, and cash prizes. The Chief Guest and the Judges praised the participants for their creativity and encouraged them to continue exploring solutions for a sustainable future.
The Science Fest 2024-25 fostered a spirit of innovation and environmental responsibility among students.
