Learning outcome of the Activity: Encourages students to think outside the box to design unique models. Deepens understanding of scientific concepts through research and application. Encourages critical thinking about real-world scientific problems. Helps in learning about new innovations and technologies.
Report on the Activity:
Theem college of engineering, Boisar had hosted Interschool Event ‘JASHN-E-THEEM. As a part of this event Junior Scientist Competition was held for the students in 2 categories; VI-VIII and IX -XII. The competition aimed to inspire young minds to apply their scientific knowledge to real-world problem-solving, while also enhancing their teamwork and presentation skills.
Our students from St. John International School participated in both the categories and showcased their creativity, innovation, and scientific knowledge through impressive working and demonstration models.
In the category ( VI-VIII) Master Ayaan Ladji (VIIIB), Miss. Kavya Vartak (VIIIA), and Master Neel Mane (VIIA) presented their model on “Carbon-Free City” under the guidance of their teacher Mrs. Rita Kirar
In category ( IX-XII) Miss Sana Sinha ( XI), Miss Rajvi Mahatre (XI), and Miss Manshree Malvi(XI) demonstrated their model “Trash to Bloom: Plastic goes green” under the guidance of their teacher Mrs Hetal Shah which earned them the first prize for its innovative approach and impactful presentation.
