Training on First Aid/ Medical Emergency

Learning outcome of the Activity: To equip the teacher to deal with the medical emergency or any hazard happening to any stakeholder of the school.

Report on the Activity:
An awareness programme on first aid and techniques to deal with emergencies was held on 14th August 2024 by Dr. Mohammad Momin for teachers. Such training is important as it would benefit the student and society at large in case of occurrence of any disaster.
The session started with welcoming of the resource person by our principal. Dr. Mohammad guided the teachers regarding ways to deal with emergencies like nasal bleed, snake bite, bench hurt, epileptic attack, cramps, asthma, choke of nose or ears by small objects, in case of fall and hurt on head, swellings. He also guided teachers on type of medicine to be given for stomach pain, toothache.
He also solved the doubts asked by teachers on how to deal with emergencies like heart attack, blood pressure variation, migraine, stone problem.
The session ended with vote of thanks proposed by the co-ordinator Mrs. VidyaLakshmi
