Report on the Activity:
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, also known as Bhim Jayanti, is celebrated every year on 14th April to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar—India’s first Law Minister, social reformer, and the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.
At St. John International School, this important occasion was celebrated with enthusiasm and reverence on 11th April 2025. The event commenced with a thoughtful speech by Aarvi Patil from Grade V-B, who spoke about the life, values, and milestones of Dr. Ambedkar, including his fight against social discrimination and his pivotal role in shaping modern India.
The students showcased informative charts and placards highlighting constitutional rights, duties, and freedoms, helping to build awareness among young minds. The event also featured a melodious group song performance by students of Grades IV and V, which added vibrancy and depth to the celebration.
The program served as a meaningful tribute to a visionary leader and instilled in students the importance of justice, equality, and unity in society.
