Report on the Activity:
As part of the CBSE’s emphasis on developing reading habits among students, St. John International School organized a Reading Activity in the school library. The initiative aimed to foster a lifelong love for reading, enhance comprehension skills, and promote a culture of silent and focused reading among students. Students were brought to the library class-wise, where they were given a brief orientation on the importance of reading. A quiet, distraction-free atmosphere was maintained to ensure focused reading. Teachers monitored the session and provided assistance when needed. At the end of the session, students shared their thoughts and summaries of what they read.
