International Yoga Day

Learning outcome of the Activity:
- Students engaged in various yoga poses, which helped enhance their flexibility,
strength, and overall physical well-being.
- The sessions taught students the significance of yoga for maintaining both mental and
physical health, encouraging lifelong practice.
The International Yoga Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at St. John International School on 21st June. The events began at 7:30 am when students of Grades VI and VII were taken to Krida Sankul, near Samrat Academy. There, a yoga session was conducted for the students, promoting mindfulness and physical well-being. The session concluded at 9:30 am, and the students returned to school.
The school then organized Yoga competitions on the occasion of Yoga day from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, where students showcase their skills and knowledge of yoga poses and breathing exercises.
At 11:30 am, students from Grades VI to VIII were gathered in the MMS Hall for a special yoga session under the expert guidance of Mrs. Chandrakala Bhanushali and Mrs. Lucky Patel. Both instructors led the students through a series of yoga exercises, emphasizing physical fitness, concentration, and mental well-being.
The day was filled with positive energy, helping students not only engage in physical exercise but also learn the importance of yoga for both mental and physical health.
Overall, the event was a successful celebration of International Yoga Day, offering students an opportunity to learn and practice yoga under expert guidance.
