Report on the Activity:
On 19th February 2026, St. John International School celebrated the birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, with great enthusiasm and pride. The programme began with the garlanding of Shivaji Maharaj’s portrait by our respected Principal. Students of Std IV and V sang patriotic songs to pay tribute to the legendary king. Master Sarth Chile from Std IV performed a powada, beautifully highlighting the bravery and remarkable achievements of Shivaji Maharaj. Master Swarady Gokhale from Std II delivered an inspiring speech about his courage, leadership, and administrative skills. The students also explained the importance of Swarajya and emphasized the values of honesty, bravery, and justice taught by Shivaji Maharaj. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Master Shivraj and Yashashree from Std IV.
The celebration helped students understand the importance of history and inspired everyone to follow the noble ideals of Shivaji Maharaj.
