The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti Special Assembly was conducted on 13th April 2026 at St. John International School, Palghar, to commemorate the birth anniversary of one of India’s greatest leaders, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The program was organized at the Quandragle venue under the guidance of Mr. Sudhakar Patil.
The assembly commenced with a warm welcome by the anchors, Grace and Vivaan, who eloquently introduced the significance of the day. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp in front of Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait by the respected Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro, symbolizing the spread of knowledge and enlightenment.
Kabir delivered an insightful and inspiring speech highlighting Dr. Ambedkar’s life journey, struggles against social discrimination, and his remarkable contribution as the architect of the Indian Constitution. His speech emphasized the importance of the guiding principle “Educate, Agitate, Organize,” inspiring students to follow these ideals.
An interactive quiz session conducted by Sanchi added enthusiasm to the program. Students actively participated and showcased their knowledge about Dr. Ambedkar’s life and achievements, making the session lively and educational.
The assembly concluded with a pledge where students committed to upholding the values of equality, respect, and justice. The program ended with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired and motivated.
The assembly was a great success, fostering awareness, respect, and admiration for Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions. It encouraged students to imbibe his values and strive towards building a just and inclusive society.
