The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27 was solemnized with great enthusiasm and dignity within the school premises. This significant occasion served to formally entrust responsibilities to the newly elected student council, celebrating the core values of leadership, integrity, and commitment.
The proceedings commenced with a disciplined march past by the outgoing student leaders, reflecting the coordination and pride that defined their tenure. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mrs. Suzzaine Coutinho and Mrs. Suchita Gharat, Principal of St. John Jr. College, along with our Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro. Following the rendition of the Campus Anthem, the event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp to invoke divine blessings. This was followed by a vibrant welcome dance, which provided an energetic opening to the morning’s formalities.
The transition of leadership was marked by the formal induction of the newly elected council members. During the investiture, Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro conferred the sashes and badges upon the student leaders, signifying their official appointment. In a poignant moment of transition, the school and house flags were handed over by the Principal and House Teachers, symbolizing the transfer of authority and duty.
Under the guidance of Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro, the newly inducted leaders took their solemn oath of office, pledging to serve the institution with unwavering dedication and sincerity.
