LEARNING OUTCOME OF THE ACTIVITY:
The Library Scavenger Hunt helped students develop their research, observation, reading, and problem-solving skills. By solving the given questions and searching for information in books and other library resources, students learned how to find and use information effectively. The activity also encouraged teamwork, independent learning, active participation, and increased students’ confidence and interest in using the library.
ACTIVITY OVERVIEW:
“A library is a community of learners, and every scavenger hunt is an opportunity to engage with that community.”
Library Scavenger Hunt was conducted as an interactive and engaging activity for students. A set of questions and clues was provided to the participants, which they had to solve by searching for the required information from different books and resources available in the library.
Students explored the library to find book titles, authors, subjects, reference materials, and other relevant information. The activity encouraged students to read carefully, search independently, use library resources effectively, and find accurate answers within the given time.
The activity helped students develop research skills, observation, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and familiarity with the library collection. It also made the learning experience enjoyable and encouraged students to use the library confidently and independently.
