Ambedkar Jayanti
On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April, a special assembly was conducted in honour of Babasaheb Ambedkar at St. John International School, Palghar on 13th April, 2023. The Principal paid tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar by lighting the Samay. Students delivered powerful speeches about the life and events of Dr. Ambedkar’s journey. Dr. Ambedkar was one of the architects of the Indian constitution. He was an eminent jurist, lawyer, professor and social activist.
He fought tirelessly to restore the rights of the untouchables, Dalits and other backward classes. Dr. Ambedkar is indeed a prominent figure in the story of India’s liberation struggle.
