Learning Outcome of the Activity:
To develop practical knowledge and enhance students’ understanding of financial reporting, auditing, taxation, entrepreneurship, insurance, and the ethical responsibilities of finance professionals
To commemorate Chartered Accountants Day, observed annually on 1st July, a PowerPoint Presentation and Role Play activity was conducted on 8th July 2026 for the Commerce students of Grades XI and XII. The objective of the activity was to familiarize students with the diverse career opportunities in the field of commerce and to highlight the vital roles played by Chartered Accountants, entrepreneurs, and insurance professionals in the economy.
Students delivered informative PowerPoint presentations and performed role plays portraying Chartered Accountants, entrepreneurs, and insurance agents. They explained the responsibilities of Chartered Accountants in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, statutory compliance, and ethical practices. The entrepreneur presentations emphasized innovation, business planning, leadership, and risk management, while the insurance role highlighted the importance of financial security, risk coverage, and customer advisory services.
The activity provided students with valuable practical insights into the interconnected roles of these professions in business and society. It enhanced their communication, presentation, and analytical skills while encouraging them to explore career opportunities in commerce, finance, entrepreneurship, and insurance. The programme concluded with an increased appreciation for financial literacy, ethical practices, and the importance of professional excellence in building a strong economy.
