Report of the activity:
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. John Schools, Palghar on 18th February. The event was organized to honor the legacy of the great Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and to instill his values of bravery, leadership, and patriotism among students. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a floral tribute to the portrait of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Various cultural programs were performed by students, showcasing Shivaji Maharaj’s valor and vision like singing of Powadas, a short skit on Shivaji Maharaj’s life, dance performances on Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy was presented and a speech was delivered on Shivaji Maharaj, emphasizing his qualities as a just and visionary ruler. The celebration not only paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but also inspired students to imbibe his values of courage, leadership, and devotion to the nation
