Crackers-Free Diwali Rally

Report on activity-On 17th October, the Science Club of St. John International School organized an awareness rally inside the school campus to promote the idea of a Crackers-Free Diwali. The event aimed to encourage students and staff to celebrate the festival of lights in an eco-friendly and responsible manner.
Students from grade VI to VIII,participated enthusiastically in the rally, carrying colorful placards and banners with messages such as “Say No to Crackers, Yes to Life!”, “Light Lamps, Not Crackers!”, and “Let’s Celebrate a Green Diwali!”. The rally moved around the campus, spreading awareness among students and teachers about the harmful effects of firecrackers on the environment and human health.
The rally created a sense of responsibility among students to protect nature and celebrate festivals in a sustainable way.
The rally was a great success as it inspired everyone to take a pledge for a safe and pollution-free Diwali. The Science Club’s initiative helped spread an important message — that true celebration lies in spreading happiness, light, and harmony, not smoke and noise.
