Objectives
1. Raise Awareness: Educate students about the importance of cyber safety and security practices in their daily online activities.
2. Enhance Recognition Skills: Develop students’ ability to recognize and differentiate between various logos related to cybersecurity, social media platforms, and government resources.
3. Promote Engagement: Encourage active participation through interactive activities like poster making and logo guessing, fostering teamwork and collaboration among students.
4. Inform about Encryption: Provide knowledge on encryption techniques, including their significance in protecting personal information and maintaining privacy online.
5. Foster Creativity: Allow students to express their understanding of cyber safety concepts creatively through poster design.
6. Cultivate Responsible Online Behavior: Instill a sense of responsibility in students regarding their online presence and interactions.
Cyber Safety Week was successfully conducted on October 11, focusing on enhancing students’ understanding of online safety and cybersecurity practices through engaging activities tailored to different class levels, promoting awareness and critical thinking. Classes X and XI engaged in an interactive logo guessing competition, where they identified various logos related to antivirus software, social media platforms, and government websites concerning cybercrime, which not only tested their recognition skills but also deepened their understanding of online safety resources. For Class XII, a seminar on encryption techniques was held, emphasizing the importance of encryption in protecting personal information and ensuring secure communications. Overall, Cyber Safety Week provided an excellent platform for students to learn about essential cybersecurity concepts.
