Report on the Activity:
The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at St. John International School. The event was a grand success, bringing together students, teachers, and staff to participate in a series of vibrant and cultural activities. The celebration began with a special morning assembly where students shared the significance of Diwali through speeches and short skits. The school was beautifully decorated with diyas and colorful lights creating a festive atmosphere. Students from different grades showcased their artistic talents by designing intricate rangoli patterns and craftwork related to Diwali. The event included a diya-lighting ceremony led by the school Principal, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of positivity and knowledge. The event was a cultural program that included traditional dance performances, melodious bhajans, and a drama depicting the victory of good over evil.
