“PUBLIC SPEAKING IS THE ART OF DILUTING A 1 MINUTE IDEA WITH 1 HOUR VOCABULARY”
Elocution & Extempore competition was conducted on 08th August 2023. Students were asked to pick a topic. The topics in the competition varied. Every participant was given precisely 1 minute to prepare the speech on a selected topic. It was indeed astounding to see how beautifully students had put their thoughts, insights, humour and delivered the speech of consciousness which was fluent, erudite and articulate while being unscripted. Students from Grade IX and XI had participated. The parameter for the judgement was content, fluency, confidence and presentation.
The participants displayed oratory skill with zeal and enthusiasm. The competition was
culminated with a few words of encouragement by judges.
