Farewell for Grade X and XII – 2024-25

The farewell party for Class X and XII was organised by students of class IX and XI to bid adieu to our beloved students who have been an integral part of our school community. The event aimed to celebrate their achievements, contributions and memories shared during their time at St. John International School.
The event began with lighting of lamp by Honourable Chairman Mr. Albert W D’Souza, Mrs. Elvina D’Souza – The Secretary, Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro and the Principals of all the different institutions of St. John Campus.
The farewell party was celebrated with fervour at the school campus. It was an occasion for the outgoing students to reminisce about their joyous moments. The auditorium was adorned with flowers, garlands and decorations. Students of grade XI and IX organised the farewell party with great enthusiasm and of course endeavoured to leave a trail of nostalgia behind for the XII and X class.
Various cultural performances including dance, music, games and spot prizes were presented by students and teachers to entertain the audience and create a joyful atmosphere. These performances showcased the diverse talents within our school community. A heartfelt video of the long and rich journey of the outgoing class was played making the event momentous for all.
The event was preceded by a motivational and good luck speech by Honourable Chairman sir Mr. Albert W D’Souza who has always generously imparted his wisdom to the pupils and guided them towards the right path. He expressed his desire to see all the students at great heights of success and guided the senior students for taking on responsibilities smoothly and setting a remarkable example for their juniors irrespective of the situation around them. He gave them helpful advice on how to rise to the expectations of their family and society with their own aspirations. He concluded by wishing them happiness and success in all future endeavours and inspired them to leave an indelible mark on society and make the school proud.
The students of class XII Miss Ishida Kini expressed her gratitude towards her beloved teachers. Master Chatya Dharod of class X shared his thoughts and experiences in the school. This was followed by giving mementos to all the students by the School management and Principal.
Later, Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro also motivated the students for the examinations and also wished good luck to the students for their future. She also expressed her hope that students will continue holding the best positions in upcoming examinations. She appreciated the students for their performance throughout the year.
At the end of the farewell ceremony, the students of class XII and X both were served refreshment. The day ended by capturing memories with photo sessions. It was a very touching moment for all. At Last the auditorium was geared up with the DJ filling high energies and immense pleasure among all, with the stamps of amazing memories and fun.
