The students of Grade IX of St. John International School bid a farewell to the first batch of the grade X students during a farewell party on Friday. The students and the invitees were welcomed with a flower. The programme began by invoking God’s presence with a prayer service and a prayer dance.
different games and spot prizes were organised for the students. Hindi mash up songs and farewell song were sung by the choir group, which was then followed by the dance which rocked the floor.
There was surprise moment where the king and queen was selected among the students on the basis of their overall performance of the day. A power point presentation presented to cherish the golden memories of our students in our School.
The Grade X students spoke about their fond memories in the school which was so touching and heart-warming. The Principal Sr. Apoline Pais and member of Aldel Education Trust Mr. Aldridge D’Souza motivated the students in his speech to face their future.
The head of the Institute Principal Sr. Apoline Pais and the Secretary of Aldel Education Trust Mrs. Elvina D’Souza passed the flame of knowledge by lighting the candles of the grade X teachers who then passed to the grade X students and they passed the flame to the students of grade IX. As a token of love the students were presented with a memento. Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia and fun and excitement!
