Fathers Day celebration

Learning outcome of the Activity:
1)Students will be able to reflect on the sacrifices, efforts, and roles of parents, especially fathers, in shaping their lives.
2)Demonstrate empathy by putting themselves in their father’s perspective while writing.
3)Understand the value of open, honest communication within families.
Report on the Activity:
To honor and celebrate the invaluable role of fathers in our lives, a special set of activities were organized at St. John International School, on the occasion of Father’s Day. Students from Grades VI to XII actively participated, expressing their love, gratitude, and appreciation for their fathers through creative and heartfelt expressions.
Grades VI to VIII – Card Making Activity
Students from Grades VI to VIII took part in a Card Making Activity. With great enthusiasm and creativity, the young learners designed beautiful cards using colorful paper, glitter, stickers, and drawings. Each card contained personalized messages and heartfelt notes dedicated to their fathers. The activity not only allowed students to express their emotions artistically but also helped strengthen the bond between them and their fathers.
Grades IX to XII – Letter Writing to their Father
Students from Grades IX to XII engaged in a Letter Writing Activity, where they penned down emotional, thoughtful letters to their fathers. These letters reflected their gratitude, admiration, and love. Many students shared how writing the letter helped them articulate feelings they had not expressed before. The activity served as a reminder of the importance of open and heartfelt communication within families.
