“Knowledge is power. General knowledge empowers you to understand the world better.”
On 26th July 2025, our school organized the General Knowledge Quiz Competition with the objective of enhancing participants’ awareness of current affairs, history, geography, science, and general trivia, while also promoting teamwork and healthy competition. The event began at 1:30 pm, bringing together students and teachers in an atmosphere of excitement and curiosity. The competition was conducted in a house-wise format, with students representing Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow Houses. It was divided into two groups: Std. I–II and Std. III–IV. The quiz featured multiple rounds such as General Knowledge, Rapid Fire, and Audio-Visual, which kept both participants and the audience fully engaged. All houses participated enthusiastically, showcasing quick thinking, confidence, and teamwork. After an exciting contest in the Std. III–IV category, Blue House emerged as the winner and in the Std. I–II category, Red House secured the first place. The quiz was conducted smoothly under the guidance of the quiz masters and teachers in charge, while time-keepers, scorers, and student volunteers ensured its flawless execution. The audience too participated with great enthusiasm, cheering for their respective houses and gaining knowledge through the process. The competition not only tested students’ knowledge but also motivated them to broaden their horizons beyond textbooks. It successfully promoted team spirit, confidence, and healthy competition among students.
