GK Quiz Competition

Learning Outcome: To enhance students’ general knowledge and critical thinking by challenging them across diverse topics. It also fostered teamwork, time management, and confidence, helping students develop essential life skills.
Report on the Activity:
The quiz competition was organized by the St. John International School’s Math Club as part of the annual academic event. The competition aimed to enhance students’ general knowledge, encourage critical thinking, and promote healthy competition among students from different classes. The event provided an excellent platform for participants to showcase their knowledge across various subjects, including Science, Math Space and Current Affairs.
The competition was an engaging four-round event, including a Mixed Bag Round, Buzzer Round, Audio/Visual Round, and Rapid-Fire Round, which kept the students actively involved for one hour. The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them
with confidence. Although all the teams participated actively, the Red House and Team B emerged as the highest scorers. The competition was both informative and enriching, providing valuable knowledge to the participants as well as the audience.
The event fostered a spirit of healthy competition and collaboration, while promoting knowledge-sharing and learning. We extend our congratulations to the winning teams and express our appreciation to all participants, organizers, and attendees for making the event a resounding success.
