St. John International School, Palghar, successfully organized a Green Summer Camp from 11th June to 17th June 2026 with the aim of promoting environmental awareness, sustainable living, and responsible citizenship among students. The camp received enthusiastic participation from students and teachers, making it a meaningful and enriching experience.

The camp commenced on 11th June with the activity “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, where students planted saplings and dedicated them to their mothers as a symbol of love and care for nature. A “Reduce Waste” awareness session was also conducted, encouraging students to practice waste reduction and proper waste management. 80 students and 9 teachers participated in the activity.

On 12th June, students actively participated in various pledge-based activities such as Adopt Healthy Lifestyle, Adopt Sustainable Food Practices, Save Energy, and Save Water. These activities helped students understand the importance of conserving natural resources and adopting eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.

A Poster Making Competition on “No Single-Use Plastic” was organized on 15th June. Students showcased their creativity through informative and attractive posters highlighting the harmful effects of plastic pollution and the need to use environmentally friendly alternatives.

The camp concluded on 17th June with an awareness program on “Reduce E-Waste”. Students learned about the environmental impact of electronic waste and the importance of recycling and responsible disposal of electronic devices.
