Learning Outcome –The celebration of Guru Purnima helped students understand the importance of teachers and mentors in guiding them towards knowledge, values, and success. It also instilled feelings of respect, gratitude, and appreciation for the invaluable role of gurus in their lives.

Our school celebrated Guru Purnima with great enthusiasm and devotion on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Ashadha. The day was marked by various activities that honoured the importance of teachers and mentors in shaping the lives of students.
The celebration began with a special assembly in the school auditorium. The principal addressed the students and highlighted the significance of Guru Purnima in Indian tradition. Subsequently, students performed cultural programs including devotional songs and dances dedicated to the gurus. A special segment was dedicated to reciting tributes and expressing gratitude to teachers for their guidance and support.
Later in the day, a felicitation ceremony was organized where teachers were honoured with bouquets and mementos by the students as a token of respect. The school also arranged a workshop on the values imparted by great gurus in history, emphasizing the role of education and wisdom.
The celebration concluded with a group prayer seeking blessings for the teachers and students. Overall, the event was a memorable occasion that strengthened the bond between teachers and students and reiterated the importance of acknowledging the role of mentors in our lives.
