Inauguration and Blessing Ceremony of Biology Lab and Library

St John International School believes in real life experiences to the students. The role of laboratory and filed learning becomes a key component in understanding biology.  The Biology Lab and the new Library was inaugurated on 19 August 2019 by Most Rev.Dr. Peter Saldanah,Bishop of Mangalore in the presence of Mr Albert W D’Souza, Chairman-Aldel Education Trust, Principal Sr Apoline Pais and many other invited guests.

Our laboratory is very spacious which can accommodate around 40 students at a time. It is is well equipped with highly advanced microscopes, for better results. Varieties of permanent slides are easily accessible to children. Moreover beautifully painted and well labelled diagrammatic representations of various specimens are present along with virtual images of specimen as per CBSE norms so that students can visualize and understand a specimen easily which will give the students a more realistic understanding of the topic  which will help them improve their results in the examinations.

The Well equipped library was also blessed on the same day. The library has got more than 2368 books which includes fiction, non-fiction, reference books and many other genres. The colourful ambience of the library has given a lively and cosy environment to the students.
