Learning outcome :

Students understood the importance of Yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. They learned and practiced basic Yoga asanas, breathing techniques, and laughter yoga to improve concentration, flexibility, and relaxation. Students developed awareness about incorporating Yoga into their daily routine for better health, self-discipline, and mindfulness.

The school enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga Day with the students of Grades I  to V to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and healthy living. The event was organized with great zeal and participation from students. The program commenced with an introduction highlighting the significance of Yoga in maintaining a healthy body and a peaceful mind. Students were informed about the importance of incorporating Yoga into their daily routine to improve concentration, flexibility, and overall health.

The Yoga session was conducted under the expert guidance of Ms. Chandrakala Bhanushali and Ms. Lucky Patel, who are certified Yoga trainers. They demonstrated and taught various Yoga asanas, breathing exercises (Pranayama), and simple meditation techniques suitable for young learners. The trainers patiently explained the correct postures and benefits of each asana, encouraging students to practice Yoga regularly.

Students actively participated in performing different Yoga poses such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana, Sukhasana and laughter yoga. The session was highly interactive and engaging. Students showed great enthusiasm and followed the instructions with dedication. The activity not only enhanced their awareness of physical fitness but also inspired them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Arsh Mokashi with a message encouraging students to practice Yoga daily and make it a part of their routine for a healthier and happier life. The event was a great success and left a positive impact on all participants.“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” The International Yoga Day celebration proved to be an enriching and memorable experience for the students of Grades I to V.
