“Leadership is not about being in charge, it’s about taking care of those in your charge.”
The Investiture Ceremony of St. John International School (Primary Section) was held on 22nd April, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Suchita Gharat, Principal of St. John Junior College, and the Principal of St. John International School, Sr. Veena Monteiro, along with the parents of the student council members. The school band played a lively tune as the student council members marched to the stage. The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a heartfelt prayer song. A vibrant welcome dance was performed by the students. The choir then performed, adding to the sense of unity. The newly elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by the dignitaries. The student council then took an oath to uphold the school’s values of truth, loyalty, and integrity. In their speeches, Ayansh and Aarvi pledged to serve with sincerity and fairness. Mrs. Suchita Gharat encouraged the student council to lead by example, work with integrity, and create a positive environment. Sr. Veena Monteiro also congratulated the council and assured them of her support. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Sheetala Bhandari, who expressed gratitude to all for their contributions to the event. The occasion ended with the singing of the National Song, filling everyone with pride and unity.
