Investiture Ceremony – Primary Section
“A leader is one who sees more than others see, who sees farther than others see and who sees before others see.”
The investiture ceremony for the primary section at St. John International School was held with great enthusiasm on 25th August,2023.
The ceremony was presided over by the Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro.
The ceremony began with a formal welcoming of the gathering followed by lighting of the lamp. The choir group filled the atmosphere with a spirit of motivation and inspiration with their performance.
The student council then performed a slow march past and proceeded to the stage. The Principal honoured the student council with sashes and badges and congratulated each and everyone of them. The ceremony reached its pinnacle with the handing over of the school flag and house flags by the Principal and house mistresses to the captains. The eloquent speeches by the head boy and head girl added charm to the ceremony.
The proud parents of the students council were overjoyed to see their young children take lead roles at school.
The Principal advised the student council to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She also reminded them of their responsibilities towards the school and told them that they had to be role models for others.
The ceremony ended with the vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
