Report on the Activity:
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity in the school premises. It marked a significant occasion to entrust responsibilities to the newly elected student leaders and to honour the spirit of leadership and commitment.
The program commenced with a march past by the outgoing student leaders, showcasing discipline, coordination, and pride in their service. It was followed by a vibrant welcome dance, performed by the students, which added a colorful and energetic start to the event.
To invoke divine blessings, the traditional lighting of the lamp was carried out by the Principal Sr Veena Monteiro, the Guest of Honour Fr. Ashley Banga, and Head girl, Head Boy, followed by a soulful prayer song sung by the school choir, creating a serene and respectful atmosphere.
The newly elected leaders were then formally welcomed, signifying the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership. The batch and sash distribution ceremony was conducted with grace, as the Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro and the Chief Guest Fr. Ashley Banga, adorned the leaders with their respective insignias.
In a symbolic and proud moment, the school flag and house flags were handed over to the new leaders by the Principal and the House Teachers, emphasizing the transfer of duties and responsibilities. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, where the Principal Sr. Veena Monteiro administered the oath of office, and the newly inducted leaders pledged their dedication, integrity, and commitment to serve the school.
The highlight of the ceremony was the motivational speech by the Guest of Honour, Fr. Ashley Banga who shared valuable insights on leadership, responsibility, and teamwork, inspiring the students to rise to their new roles with sincerity and passion.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Head Girl, Ms. Astha Kini expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The program ended with the National Anthem, evoking a sense of patriotism and unity among all present.
The Investiture Ceremony was a memorable event, leaving a lasting impression on everyone and setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
