Report of the activity:

On 18 August 2025, St. John International School celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with enthusiasm and fervor. The event aimed to teach students about the birth of Lord Krishna and his importance in Hindu tradition. The celebration began with a brief introduction by a Grade III C student, explaining the significance of Krishna Janmashtami and the various names of Lord Krishna. The children learned that Krishna is known by several names, such as Gopala, Giridhara, and Madhva, each holding special meaning in Hindu mythology. Grade 4 students performed devotional songs in honor of Lord Krishna, adding a cultural touch to the event. Through these activities, students were able to understand the moral and spiritual lessons Lord Krishna imparted during his life. The event was not only educational but also gave students an opportunity to experience the vibrancy of Hindu culture through music, storytelling, and a shared sense of celebration.
