Maharashtra Day is celebrated on 1st May every year to mark the formation of the state of Maharashtra in 1960, after the division of the Bombay State into Maharashtra and Gujarat. This day reminds us of the efforts of great leaders like Yashwantrao Chavan and many others who worked for a separate state. It is celebrated with pride through flag hoisting, cultural programs, and speeches, promoting unity, hard work, and progress among people.
A special assembly was conducted by the students with the help of the Incharge Teacher. Student of Grade X A Hardiki Shinde gave information on Maharashtra day and its importance.
