Maharashtra Day

Maharashtra Day is celebrated to commemorate the formation of the state of Maharashtra after its division from Bombay State on May 1, 1960.All students participated in the program with great enthusiasm and passion. The celebration started off with the reciting of the Pledge and Prayer. A skit was performed by students of grade XII showcasing the struggle behind the formation of Maharashtra and Gujarat as a separate state. Students of grade VI- VIII presented a group song, singing the glory of Marathi culture and heritage. This was followed by energetic dance performance on Maharashtra culture. The program concluded with National anthem.
