Report of the activity:

On 9th April 2025, our school celebrated Mahavir Jayanti with great enthusiasm and spirit. The program commenced at 12:50 pm, bringing together students and teachers. Grade VB student Dikshita gave a beautiful speech on Lord Mahavir, highlighting his teachings. Following that, students from Grades III, IV, and V presented a beautiful song, which was the highlight of the program. Mahavir Jayanti celebrates the birth of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, and holds significant spiritual and cultural importance for Jains worldwide. This day provides valuable learning opportunities, both for Jains and those seeking to understand Jain philosophy. Jainism encourages respect for all religious beliefs and traditions. Mahavir Jayanti also teaches the value of interfaith tolerance and peaceful coexistence, as Jainism emphasizes the universality of its ethical values. On this day, Jains often engage in charitable activities such as helping the poor, planting trees, and caring for animals. These actions promote the importance of social and environmental responsibility.
