Report on the activity:
Our school celebrated Makar Sankranti with joy for students of Classes 1 to 5. The programme started with a short speech explaining the importance of the festival. Students learned about the harvest season and the tradition of flying kites.
Children then enjoyed a kite-making activity, where they made colorful kites using craft materials. This activity encouraged creativity and teamwork.
The celebration ended with sharing sweets like tilgul. Students learned the importance of sharing, kindness, and speaking sweetly with others.
The celebration was joyful, informative, and enjoyable for all students.
