St. John International School, Palghar organized a Mathematics Competition for Grades VI to IX on 24th September 2026 with the objective of enhancing students mathematical thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and practical application of concepts.
Students of Grades VI and VII participated in an Aptitude and Competency Test comprising MCQs based on mathematical aptitude, logical reasoning, and competency-based mathematics. Students of Grades VIII and IX participated in Mathematical Model Making, wherein they prepared, presented, and explained models based on geometrical concepts.
The competition provided students with an opportunity to apply their mathematical knowledge beyond the classroom and encouraged creative thinking, conceptual understanding, and effective communication. The activities also promoted confidence, accuracy, and a deeper appreciation of mathematics through practical and engaging learning experiences.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and active involvement from the students. It served as a valuable platform for nurturing mathematical skills and encouraging students to explore mathematics in an innovative and meaningful manner.
