Learning outcome of the Activity:
To focus on familiarizing the students with the new academic environment, academic programs, and support systems, and helping them adjust to the expectations of senior secondary education.
The orientation programme for Grade XI parents and students was successfully conducted on 18th June 2025 in the MMS hall. The session aimed to familiarize the new batch of students and their parents with the academic structure, school policies, co-curricular opportunities, and expectations for the senior secondary years.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the Principal, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between parents, students, and teachers in ensuring academic success and holistic development. She highlighted the school’s vision and the role of parents in supporting their children through the crucial transition into senior school life.
The parents were briefed on the assessment patterns, internal assessments, and exam preparedness strategies. Emphasis was given on attendance wherein the Principal made the parents aware that long leaves will not be sanctioned.
The orientation also included an interactive session where parents had the opportunity to clarify their doubts. The Principal also addressed common challenges faced by students during this phase and offered guidance on time management and mental well-being.
The programme concluded by expressing gratitude to all parents and students for their enthusiastic participation. The orientation served as an effective platform to initiate a strong and transparent communication channel between the school and the parent community.
