P.N. PANICKER READING MONTH CELEBRATION 2026

Learning Outcomes of P.N. PANICKER READING MONTH CELEBRATION 2026 :
By the end of the month, students were able to:
- Develop a habit of regular reading.
- Enhance knowledge through books and digital resources.
- Build responsible and informed citizenship.
- Promote positive values and social responsibility.
As part of the P.N. Panicker Reading Month Celebration 2026 (19th June – 18th July 2026), various activities were organized in our school to promote reading habits, language development, creativity, and awareness among students.
The celebration commenced with the Reading Pledge and Introduction to P.N. Panicker on 09 July 2026, in which all students participated enthusiastically and pledged to cultivate a lifelong reading habit. Students were also introduced to the life and contributions of P.N. Panicker, the Father of the Library Movement in Kerala.
On 09 July 2026, an Entrepreneurial Awareness Class was conducted by Ms. Arzoo Shaikh and Ms. Snehal Nair for the students of Classes XI and XII Commerce. The session introduced students to entrepreneurship, innovation, and career opportunities in business, inspiring them to think creatively and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
A Book Review Group Activity was organized on 10 July 2026 for the students of Class IX-B under the guidance of Jagruti Miss. Students reviewed and discussed books they had read, enhancing their reading comprehension, critical thinking, and communication skills.
A Quiz Competition was conducted on 06 July 2026 and coordinated by Miss Delisa Velso. Students participated actively, demonstrating their knowledge, teamwork, and enthusiasm for learning through a healthy spirit of competition.
To strengthen language skills, an English Word Competition was held on 16 July 2026 under the supervision of Sudhakar Sir. The activity helped students enrich their vocabulary, improve language proficiency, and develop an appreciation for linguistic diversity.
All the activities witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers. The celebration successfully promoted a culture of reading, enhanced language and communication skills, encouraged creativity and critical thinking, and inspired students to become lifelong learners, in keeping with the objectives of the P.N. Panicker Reading Month Celebration 2026.
