Learning outcome of the Activity:
Students will develop creativity by designing and crafting personalized rakhi using different materials (threads, beads, sequins, etc.).
Students will learn how to design functional, creative bookmarks that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical for use in books.
Report on the Activity:
An Art Competition was held on 6th Aug, 2025, encouraging students to express their creativity through rakhi as well as bookmark making. Students from various grades participated, using different themes to create unique rakhi and bookmark. The activity was evaluated by the Art Teacher, focusing on creativity, originality, and technical skill. Each activity was assessed based on how well it reflected the chosen theme and the artistic techniques used. The event was filled with vibrant and diverse creations, showcasing students’ artistic talents. The participants demonstrated great enthusiasm, and their activity ranged from playful to detailed, reflecting their understanding of the themes. Overall, the activity was a success, fostering creativity and offering a platform for students to express themselves visually. We thank the Art Teacher for their support and look forward to more such inspiring events in the future.
