Ram Navami Celebration
St. John International School celebrated Ram Navami on 16th April, 2024 with pomp and gaiety.
The students of the primary section participated enthusiastically in the Ram Navami celebration. Rama Navami is a Hindu spring festival that celebrates the birthday of Rama, the seventh avatar of the god Vishnu.
Keeping in mind the festive spirit, an informative speech was given by a student of grade V who gave the significance of the festival. The choir led the gathering into an energetic mode with their vibrant singing performance. The graceful dancers of grade V filled the atmosphere with joy with their beautiful dance performance. Their doing so was indeed a treat for the eyes and added even more splendour to the celebration.
Ramcharitmanas were recited and devotional songs were also sung in praise of Lord Rama. It elaborated on the significance of the day and sensitised the students about virtues that needed to be imbibed and followed in our daily life.
