Ramzan Eid Celebration
‘The richness and depth of celebrations express a culture accurately.’
Celebrating events and festivals in school has become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief. Such celebrations bring the students closer to each other’s tradition and cultural beliefs and develop respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions.
The students of the St. John International School celebrated the festival of Eid with great enthusiasm. To mark the occasion, an assembly was organised on Wednesday, 10th April 2024 for the students, in the school quadrangle. The student of Grade V gave information on the importance of Eid and ways how it is celebrated all over the world. Students of Grades IV and V sang the Qawwali song in their melodious voices accompanied by rhythmic instruments.
The celebration concluded by appraising the audience about the significance of this holy festival through a poem. The spirit of Eid was well imbibed by the students and also helped them to instil the universal values of brotherhood and compassion.
