Learning outcome of the Activity: Celebrating Republic Day instills patriotism in students, fosters a sense of belonging to their nation, and nurtures them into responsible citizens.

Report on the Activity:

Our school celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with enthusiasm and grandeur. The event showcased the spirit of unity and patriotism among the students and staff.

The programme commenced at 9:30 a.m. with the arrival of the Management members, Principal, and the Chief Guest, who were welcomed with a slow march past. The Chief Guest, Mr. Tatyasaheb Dhere, Deputy Commissioner, State GST, Palghar, was escorted to the flag-hoisting ceremony by the students of Aldel High School.

Following the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, the students saluted the flag and pledged to uphold the honour and integrity of the country. The choir group of SJIS sang the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and reverence. A parade by the students of Aldel High School paid further homage to the tricolour.

Miss Grace Sam (Grade VI A) and Master Omkar Andhale (Grade VIII A) efficiently compared the event, ensuring its smooth flow. The choir group began the programme with a soulful prayer song, setting a patriotic tone for the day.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Tatyasaheb Dhere, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of the Constitution, our rights, and duties as citizens. He motivated students to pursue their passions and excel in their chosen fields.

Miss Zayna Shaikh (Grade VII A) delivered a heartfelt speech that captivated the audience with her passion and love for the motherland. The Junior College choir performed “Jay Jay Maharashtra Maaza,” evoking deep feelings of patriotism among everyone present.

The students showcased their energy and talent through vibrant performances. A group of young performers brought the stage alive with a spirited rendition of “Tujhe Namami Ho.” The students of Aldel High School enthralled the audience with their dynamic performance on a “Patriotic Mashup.”The prize distribution ceremony for the handwriting competition went really well.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Miss Nehal Shrivastav (Grade IV A). The students dispersed with a sense of pride and the image of the fluttering tricolour etched in their hearts.
