Road Race Marathon
In running, it doesn’t matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say, ‘I have finished.’ There is a lot of satisfaction in that”.
The bystanders and the residents at Palghar witnessed a brilliant show of harmony on 6th August, 2022 when around 1500 participants ran gleefully in the different Marathon race organized by Palghar District Collector. This race was a part of the celebration of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, Har Ghar Tiranga. Students from St. John International School also participated in this marathon race. Around 27 students participated in the 2km,4km and 6km marathon race.
The race started from Valan naka to Char Rasta.
Our Student Ketal Patil of Grade XII has bagged 4th Position in the category under 18 Girls (4 km).
The zeal and enthusiasm encouraged the students to complete the entire race.
Students were gripped with a feeling of anxiety and nervousness although some runners achieved triumph; others were still satisfied with their attempt to complete the entire marathon.
Overall it was a good experience for the students and the marathon was a success.
