Solo Singing Competition
Grade I – X

Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact through singing children learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students an online solo singing competition was organized at St. John International School 31st October, 2020.
Total 70 students of grade I – V participated in the competition. The theme of the competition was My favourite Song. For Grade VI to X the theme was Folk songs of Maharashtra and Odisha. Total 31 students participated from Grade VI to X.
The children sang the songs with lot of affection and passion. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of the competition. The competitors presented a variety of songs in English, Hindi as well as in Marathi which made the whole atmosphere melodious. All the young maestros sang to their level best and made the competition a great success. The competition held online and was judged by co-teachers. Three best winners were selected from each class for their best performances.
