Teacher’s Day Celebration

Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great pomp and show in the lively quadrangle of         St John International School, on September 09, 2019. The day started with a special assembly conducted by Grade X and the Student Council, where a play “Gyaan Ka Vistaar” was staged, that focused on the appropriate application of knowledge and values provided by a teacher.  The celebrations consisted of adorable and endearing performances by the little ones of the school, that left everyone present in awe. They were followed by some fun games such as tongue twister, tie the tie and blow the balloon that gave the teachers an opportunity to become children once again and reveal their mischievous sides. They did not leave any stone unturned to make all the teachers and staff feel special and make the day memorable for them. The main attraction of the celebration was the titles given to the teachers, in the form of sashes along with the beautiful handmade greeting cards that sent everyone into fits of laughter. The efforts put in to assimilate and design spoke volumes about the love, respect and gratitude of the students towards all the teachers. The teachers were overwhelmed by the thoughtful gestures of the students and felt appreciated with a deep sense of ecstasy on the special day.
