Learning outcome of the Activity:

“Students will understand the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability by exploring the themes of World Environment Day, participating in related activities, and identifying at least three practical actions they can take to protect the environment.”

Report on the Activity:

St. John International School joyfully celebrated World Environment Day on 13th June 2025 with great enthusiasm and a spirit of environmental awareness. The day was marked by a series of insightful and engaging activities aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility among students towards nature and its conservation. The celebration began with a thought-provoking presentation on the importance of Environment Day, highlighting various methods of prevention and conservation of natural resources. A captivating educational video on seed germination and wildlife conservation, including Van Mahotsav, was shown to all students, deepening their understanding of nature’s delicate balance.

Different activities were thoughtfully organized for various grades:

Grades 1 and 2 embarked on a refreshing nature walk, where they observed the beauty of the natural surroundings and learned about different plants and trees in our esteemed beautiful campus.

Grades 3 and 4 actively participated in a plantation drive, where each child planted a sapling, symbolizing a promise to nurture the planet.

Grade 5 showcased their creativity through a vibrant poster-making competition, expressing powerful environmental messages through art.

The event served as a meaningful reminder of our duty to protect Mother Earth. It was indeed a memorable and inspiring day, encouraging students to become young ambassadors of sustainability and eco-conscious living.
