Learning outcome of the Activity:
1) Students will understand the concept and purpose of an Idea Lab.
2) Students will gain awareness about innovation, prototyping, and hands-on learning
St. John International School organised an educational tour for Class XII Science and Commerce students to the Idea Lab at St. John College of Engineering and Management, Palghar. The objective of the visit was to introduce students to innovation labs and help them understand how ideas are converted into practical models using modern technology.
During the visit, students received an overview of the AICTE-supported Idea Lab and its facilities, including 3D printers, electronic components, design software, and prototyping tools. Live demonstrations helped students understand the process of designing and testing innovative ideas.
Students were guided on how the Idea Lab can help them develop practical skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, and prepare them for future careers in engineering, management, research, and startups. The visit encouraged students to think creatively and apply their academic knowledge beyond textbooks.
