Vocational Training on “Machine and Generator”
Date: 23/07/2025
Venue: Engineering College
Learning Outcome of the Training:
The training session enabled students to:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of machines and generators, their components, and their functioning.
- Develop hands-on skills with machine tools and observe the operation of generators.
- Be inspired to explore technical careers in engineering fields.
On 23rd July 2025, a vocational training session was conducted by Mr. Abhay More and
Mr. Sanjay Saldanha for Grade X students at the Engineering College on the topic of “Machine and Generator.” The training aimed at providing practical knowledge and hands-on experience regarding the fundamental concepts of machines and generators, their working principles, applications, and significance in the modern world.
The session was designed to give students a deeper understanding of these mechanical systems, encourage them to explore technical fields, and inspire future careers in engineering.
Students were shown the operation of basic machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines. They observed demonstrations of cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts. A working model of a generator was demonstrated. Students had the opportunity to see how electrical power is generated from mechanical energy.
