Workshop on Skill Development
Date: 30/07/2024
Grade and venue: Grade VII-B and Venue – St. John Engineering College.
Learning outcome of the Activity: Students learned how CNC machines and mechanical tools operate, gaining hands-on experience in making a dust pan, which bridged theoretical concepts with practical applications.
Report on the Activity: The class of Grade VII B was taken on the visit of the Wielding Department of St. John Engineering College. It was 10am, when the students were taken to the CNC lab. Mr. Dhyanchand Yadav sir showed them some machines and worked on a few machines. The students were shown various mechanical tools and their application, Instruments included Shaper, Leather Machines, Spot Welding Machine etc.
This visit successfully bridged theoretical knowledge with practical application. Providing students with valuable insights into the field of mechanical engineering. The students observed the operation of the CNC machine. The students returned at 12 noon from there.
They enjoyed the visit a lot.
