Learning outcome of the Activity:
- Students gained a clear understanding of the different types of soil and their characteristics.
2. Students learned how soil analysis is crucial for designing and building safe structures.
Report on the Activity: St. John International School organised a session for grade VIII students on the topic of “Civil Soil Analysis” conducted by Mr. Sonu Tiwari. The purpose of the workshop was to introduce young students to the basics of soil analysis, its importance and how it impacts construction and the environment. Demonstrations included simple tests like the jar test for soil texture and the percolation test for water drainage.
