Learning outcome of the Activity:
- Students gain hands-on experience, sense of responsibility and teamwork
- Students not only reflected on environmental issues but were also empowered to take action, whether through simple daily habits or larger school-wide initiatives.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, St. John International School organized various eco-friendly activities to promote environmental awareness and responsibility. Students from Grades VI to XII participated with great enthusiasm.
Students of grade X & XII planted saplings within the school campus, guided by teachers and environmental experts. This activity helped enhance the green cover and emphasized the importance of combating climate change.
Students of grade VI to VIII created thought-provoking posters on themes like pollution, deforestation, and climate change, showcasing their creativity and concern for the planet.
Grade IX students led a rally around the campus, chanting slogans and carrying placards to spread messages about sustainability and conservation.
The celebration was a great success, with students actively engaging in meaningful activities. It deepened their appreciation for nature and inspired them to take responsibility for protecting the environment through both individual and collective efforts
